Sign Our Petition Thanking Gov Dunleavy

Many Alaskans have contacted the Governor’s office in recent days with a simple question: does the recent COVID-19 health mandate ordering the cancellation or postponement of “non-urgent or elective procedures” apply to abortion clinics?

Today, Tuesday, April 7th, 2020, Governor Dunleavy made it very clear: Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers are ordered to comply with the same mandates that apply to everyone else.

Your voice makes a difference. We’re asking Alaskans to sign an on-line petition thanking Governor Dunleavy for putting Planned Parenthood on notice that they must cease and desist from performing surgical abortions that have no medical rationale.

Please continue to mandate that abortions be considered emergency surgeries instead of elective.

Also, PLEASE let our churches reopen now. It is unfair that pot shops & liquor establishments can continue to operate & profit during this pandemic but churches are required to remain closed. The very place that most Alaskans get peace & comfort is closed when it’s needed the most. Please reconsider this Governor Dunleavy! If people don’t feel comfortable attending because of social distancing, then they can choose to stay home but those of us who miss our worship time with our church family should be allowed to gather at church. I know there are a lot of people who feel the way our family does.
